Founder-led guidance
Built from a transition Steven lived himself.
GlobalWay is led by Steven Xiong, a recent Queen’s University Smith School of Business graduate. Having completed the international-student transition himself, Steven built GlobalWay around the decisions, systems, relationships, and questions that are difficult to understand from official information alone.
His role is to help students interpret what they encounter, prepare for useful conversations, and turn broad advice into realistic weekly action—not to make choices for them. The aim is greater independence as the semester progresses.
GlobalWay is an independent program and is not operated or endorsed by Queen’s University or another university.

No. GlobalWay is an independent, founder-led program. It helps students understand and make better use of existing university systems and resources.
